I seldom write reviews since my past experience with contractors has generally been negative. In this case I had to share the most positive experience with JJV2 Remodel. After asking friends for referrals and looking through reviews, I agreed to meet with the principal, Richard. He conducted a site visit and assessment of the remodeling work I needed in my large Manhattan apartment, and provided a detailed proposal with scope of work and very competitive pricing. The work was top notch, completed on time and within budget! I am very pleased (a shocker to those who know how picky I am!), my apt looks fabulous! I have since referred Richard and team to friends and highly recommend JJV2 Remodel to anyone in need of a professional and dependable contractor.

We have had a crack in our ceiling for 20+years. Multiple contractors have come in a “fixed” the issue. Rich and crew were the first to do the job RIGHT. These guys did a fantastic job! We moved into an old victorian house with plaster ceilings that had major cracks in them. They fixed all the cracks and were very professional and always on time and with a good attitude. I will be hiring them again in the future for more plaster repair work!

Rich is very professional he remodel my whole house in yonkers ny. Pop corn removal fixed a whole in the ceiling , plaster n paint my whole apartment. Painted my tub which looks glazed n shinny 😁😁🤣🤣 last but least he was able to restore my wooden floor. Sand stain n paint looks like I bought a new floor tiles. After my heat pump leaked into my wall and ceiling, Rich Rivera fixed the drywall and painted the damaged rooms. Rich was a genuine pleasure to work with, friendly, responsive, and professional. He did a great job, but he was also flexible, which was a necessary attribute for this job!

Rich removed a popcorn ceiling, fixed water damaged areas. Repaired holes on the walls left by tenants, painted the tub and the entire apartment. The upstairs at my grandmother's house was really dated and looked like inside of an old log cabin. Rich and his crew they brought new life into the whole upstairs. Quality paint job and I know that wood paneling isn't the easiest to paint. It really brightened up the whole upstairs from how dark it was. Rich is very friendly, communicative, professional and fair. Even taking into consideration the paint fumes, with my grandmother being in the house. He will break everything down with you i's dotted and t's crossed. I would definitely use Rich again for anything like this in the future. I'm super happy and amazed how it all came out.

Fantastic! Rich was able to fix a hole in our ceiling after we had some water damage in the center of our kitchen. We were worried it would forever be an eye sore and look “patched”. Rich completed it and it is absolutely seamless! You would never know there was a 3x3 hole in our ceiling! While he was here we also decided to paint our entire main floor and rich went above and beyond making everything look great! Extremely clean, was always on time or early, and very communicative. Highly recommend!

It was a pleasure to work with Rich of JJV2. Rich inspected the mold and water damage to our ceiling. He assured us that it was a quick and easy repair so not to worry. A roofer had inspected our roof and could not find a cause for the leak. Rich and his crew were able to find and fix the cause of the water damage before replacing the master bathroom ceiling. The damage in the master bath and laundry room were quickly remediated in about two days. The crew showed us their progress at every step to make sure we approved their work. They were very professional while working and with cleaned-up. We highly recommend hiring JJV2 for any work you require to your house. Oh yea, to look at it, you wouldn’t believe there was any damage.

Rich has worked on a number of different projects for me over the years. Most recently, he did a fantastic job building out my new office from a gutted space. He's always been a friendly, highly responsive and knowledgeable guy who explains every step of the way both what he is doing, and why he is doing it. On this most recent project, Rich was helpful in giving feedback on the materials chosen and used, and given his extensive experience, I trusted completely in his input. He completed the new office ahead of schedule. I was impressed by the speed at which he was able to complete the flooring, but above all by his stellar professionalism and kindness, which has never once faltered over the years. I would highly recommend him for any project, and would certainly continue to utilize his services in the future.

Rich and his team painted a room for us that needed to be updated. The room wasn’t the easiest project as it has a very high ceiling and walls made of wood paneling instead of sheet rock. Rich was very friendly and easy to work with. He mapped out the whole work schedule for us and worked diligently. The project ended up taking one less day than he estimated. We are thrilled with the final result and can’t wait to use the room. We would definitely use Rich and his team in the future!

Rich and his team were amazing! My living room ceiling said "You know what, 104 years is enough. I'm gonna go check out the floor." He patched and repainted an 8'x10' section and repainted our entire ceiling. They were in and out very quickly and left no trace they were there. (other than a giant hole disappearing) Great price with excellent service!

Rich was responsive. He came as planned each day. The wall paper removal was much more involed than expected yet Rich completed the full interior of the house in the anticipated time frame. He made sure the work was done right. Both he and his team were professional and great with my two dogs.

I have used Ritchie’s services for over 15 years. My office was at 305 5th ave in NYC and he was the person in charge of maintenance, build outs, repairs of all kinds. He was ALWAYS reliable and dependable. He did great work (everything from building out rooms to hvac repairs, laying rugs, building shelves and everything in between). I hired JJv2 and instantly Rich made us feel comfortable with the process. He had all his paperwork and assured us he would be on site doing the work himself until our bathroom renovation was complete. I cannot reccomend Rich and his services enough. He diligently worked on ceiling repairs, drywall replacement, painting, junk removal, and installed an new vanity for my home. On top of getting everything done quickly, the quality of his work was great and his communication was amazing throughout.
